"Aspens on Fryingpan Road"

Fryingpan Creek, located in Gunnison County, Colorado, is well-known for its fly fishing. During the summer months, Fryingpan Road, which parallels the creek, meanders over a pass to Leadville. But in early spring the road often is completely blocked by snow. At such an impasse, a beautiful copse of aspen trees was highlighted against the vivid blue skies near Aspen and Glenwood Springs.
