Nature's Lace, B1010

Marymere Falls were unlike most of the falls we had seen throughout Washington. Many of the falls were powerful torrents of water reminding us of heavy cotton or wool, but Marymere Falls is very delicate. The falls descended from a narrow opening in the rocks to a tranquil pool. It was a delicate stream through the mosses much like the fragile threads of lace.
