Upper Calf Creek Falls, E2582
The 88’ Upper Calf Creek Falls is not as popular as its companion 126’ Lower Falls and is much more difficult to reach. Both falls are created by the spring fed, year-round flowing of Calf Creek, which happens to be well stocked with trout.
This scene contains four primary elements: the delicate falls, the upper wall with strong textures, the lower wall with subtle surface variations, and the dark pool of water at the base. This was a hike worth making.
