Trail Ridge Road provides spectacular view of the majestic scenery of Rocky Mountain National Park making it one of America's most scenic and popular drives. With more than eight miles lying above 11,000', this unique road takes the traveler into the alpine tundra. In this biome, trees can not grow due to the short growing season. However, life is abundant low to the ground. The cool, crisp, and clean air is a nice break from the stifling July weather.<br />
