"Paint Creek Bridge"
Wabash and Erie Canal
Delphi, Indiana
The bright red of the refurbished Paint Creek Bridge is the only color seen on a muted winter morning. Wisps of fog rise above the canal and soften the hue and lines of the cast and wrought-iron bridge built in 1874. Reflections of trees in the still waters of the canal and an empty park bench speak of the quiet beauty found at the Wabash and Erie Canal Park in Delphi, Indiana.
