The Miracle of Water

Tranquil waters comforted the souls who were encamped along Lake Ontario. Yet the promise of solitude aboard a sailboat made those on terra firma yearn for something more. There was no water lapping, no insects buzzing, nor the din of engines. One could almost hear the movement of the moon as it rose into the night sky, providing just enough illumination to encourage a quiet evening on deck.
