The McKensie River watershed in the Cascade Mountains forms two gorgeous waterfalls within the Willamette National Forest, the first being Salalie Falls and the second, Koosah Falls. The name “Koosah” comes from Chinook jargon meaning “sky”.
Dropping into a deep pool, this 70’ falls is located on a well-maintained trail just west of the Cascades National Scenic Byway off Highway 126, near Sisters, Oregon.
