Twin Pillars, Ca2692
Hundreds of rock formations called Hoodoos can be found at Bryce Canyon National Park. Nearly 180 days of freezing and thawing of water in the rock fractures primarily cause these statuesque features. The challenge is to find your favorite formation. While descending the Queens Garden Trail, I came upon these twin pillars precariously balanced on the rock wall. Nice reflected light illuminates the entire formation while storm clouds form in the background.
