Naturalists at Arches National Park have cataloged more than 2,000 arches, ranging from the minimum opening of three-feet to the largest, Landscape Arch which measures 306 feet from base to base. A short way down the Devils Garden Trail, you will come to the remains of Wall Arch that succumbed to gravity in 2008. One wonders how much longer Landscape Arch has on this relentlessly changing earth.
