Lower Calf Creek Falls can be found after a pleasant 3-mile hike from the trailhead starting at Calf Creek Campgrounds just off of Highway 12. This campground is one of our favorite places to set up our tents. During the hike up Calf Creek Canyon one can observe beaver damns, trout swimming in the creek, pictographs, and beautifully stained rock walls. You are finally rewarded with a secluded oasis in the desert and a place to take a break and have a picnic next to the 130-foot falls.more »
