Calf Creek Pictograph, B3133

While hiking down the trail along Calf Creek Canyon toward the falls, people can view a magnificent wall on the northeast side of the creek. Toward the bottom of the wall, if one looks close enough, you can spot a nice example of pictographs in the typical Fremont style of rock art. We hiked across the canyon to get a close up view of the figures. What do they represent? No one knows for sure. Could it be family? If you look close, you can even see what might be the family dog. One thing for sure, many people have created their own interpretation while pausing along this pleasant hike.
