The Enchanting Southwest

A small evergreen found a perch on the edge of a rock formation and can somehow find a way to sustain life. Light, coming into an area called the “Devil’s Kitchen” at Colorado National Monument, reflects on the underside illuminating the colorful sandstone with the lines pointing up toward the tree.
