Chiquita Creek Cascades, H2118
Chiquita Creek can be found less than a half of mile from the beginning of the Old Fall River Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. The name Chiquita is believed to be the Spanish version of Chipeta, the wife of Chief Ouray of the Utes. This beautiful, cascading, melt-water stream continues downward till it reaches the Fall River. This is one of many stops along the one-way gravel road up to the pass where it joins the Trail Ridge Road.
