Hiking from the Glacier Gorge trailhead to The Loch, I paused at many places to absorb the smells, sounds, and vistas of the Glacial Gorge. Hiking from the Glacier Gorge trailhead to The Loch, I paused at many places to absorb the smells, sounds, and vistas of the Glacial Gorge. A short distance from my destination, I set up on this precipice to capture Glacier Creek tumbling down from the alpine lake. The cascading creek directed my eyes toward the textures in the rock, to the dense forest, all of which are amplified by the large puffy clouds in the deep blue sky.
