Textures Along Copeland Falls, H2849
A short stroll from the Wild Basin Trailhead brings one to a close-up view of the Upper Copeland Falls. The North St. Vrain Creek tumbles over many boulders as it descends from the upper reaches of Rocky Mountain National Park. In doing so, many fine textures are created in the water and on the surface of the rocks. Add to that, patches of light and shadows generate various tones throughout the pleasant scene.
