Escape to the Mountains

While hiking up the Medicine Bow Peak Trail, I came upon the spot I that I had anticipated. At this point I had a great view of Old Main and the rest of the Snowy Range Ridge, the many alpine lakes in the valley below situated at the tree line, and the Sawtooth Range in the distant background. Taking in the thin, clean mountain air was a pleasing sensation.
