Light from the evening sunset breaks through some storm clouds to create an interesting illumination of the 750-foot dunes, the Sangre De Cristo Mountains in the background, and a log in the foreground that was washed down by the surges of water in Medano Creek. My patience was rewarded when the desired light highlighted the three subjects.
