An easy 2.3-mile hike in Rocky Mountain National Park brings hikers to Cub Lake. This lake is surrounded by a thick pine forest and a marshy shoreline. The surface of the lake has an abundance of yellow pond-lilies. It is not uncommon for wildlife to visit this area. On this day, a grazing moose decided to keep me company.
