Sunbeams were accentuated through the morning fog at our camp near La Push, Washington. The dense evergreen forest offered little openings in its canopy, but the early morning sun found the opportunity to shine onto the trees and forest undergrowth. Sunbeams were accentuated through the morning fog at our camp near La Push, Washington. The dense evergreen forest offered little openings in its canopy, but the early morning sun found the opportunity to shine onto the trees and forest undergrowth. As the morning fog was beginning to clear, the beams angled through the moist air and created a beacon into the woods. Moss-covered branches, saplings, and lacy ferns basked in the spotlight. The sunbeams promised a start to a beautiful day and reminded us of the Beatles hit, "Good Day Sunshine."
